It’s established in 1946 and known as the only university established by Federal in Australia. Main campuses of university are on the Canberra’s Acton area. It’s a member of “Group of Eight”. Most famous alumni of school are former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Bob Hawke. Also famous professors like Manning Clark and Rolf M. Zinkernagel graduated from Australian National University.
